Micah David Bigelow October 12, 1986 – May 2, 2022 (Celebration of Life on July 30th)

Murphys, CA… Without words to convey the close to home annihilation this brings, our darling Micah died abruptly on Monday morning of May 2, 2022. Micah was born in Sonora and brought up in Murphys. He went to Albert Michelson Primary School and later moved on from Bret Harte Secondary School in 2005. He then studied at Plume Stream School in Quincy, Calif. Micah cherished being in the out-of-entryways and close to the sea. He fished, climbed, set up camp, and climbed. He was a snowboarder, a spelunker, and a waterway sprinter.

His adoration for trees provided him guidance for his calling. He turned into an arborist and began a tree administration in the unassuming community of Rio Dell in Humboldt Province.

Micah turned into a contracted laborer with the U.S. Timberland Administration. He additionally prepared for and qualified asa fireman with CalFire. As a faller, he battled in a considerable lot of California’s most terrible flames: the August Complex, Butte (Amador, Calaveras), Mendocino Complex, SCU and LNU Lightning Edifices; the Rivulet (when he met Robin, his life partner to be), North, Cedar, Edge, and Carr fires; the Landmark, Caldor, Stream, and Valley fires.

Micah later framed a nearby working relationship with North American Preparation Arrangements (NATS). In his short life, he made a huge and enduring effect on the existences of individuals who knew him.

Micah had realized “how to pay attention to trees.” May his wonderful soul and soul find a sense of contentment among the savvy and old trees of the tremendous woods that develop past this physical life. He is home, he is blissful, he is with us, and we will adore him until the end of time.
